Well as Samuel Langhorne Clemens once said

“rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated”

and on my return I would like to thank certain people for being persistent and nagging me to post on the site. You know whom you are and thank you.

There have of course been many reasons for my absence over the last couple of weeks and not all of them have been resolved as I write this entry but there is very little I can do about them at this moment in time. During my absence I have had a lot of time for contemplation and reflection about things in general and I came across an anonymous quote which I felt summed up a lot of what I have been feeling so I shall share this pearl of wisdom.

"Some people come into your life for a short time only – but they leave footprints on your heart forever."

If anyone does happen to know where this came from I would be interested in knowing.

People who know me will already know that I hate to say goodbye to a friendship and I am very much the same when it comes to ending a friendship I will do as much as I can to preserve a good friendship even if that means isolating myself from them.

Some of you may also notice a slight change in the site that is due to some work that I have been doing behind the scenes over the last few weeks.
