Competition NY2.1
“Win a CSI NY Box-set!”
It’s all change for the CSI: New York team this year when they move up in the world and relocate to a Manhattan high-rise with brand new labs, offices, autopsy rooms and state of the art equipment. Join them in the first twelve episodes of CSI:NY Season 2 explodes on to DVD 17th July 2006 courtesy of Momentum Pictures.
Head of the CSI team is ex-Marine and veteran of Desert Storm Detective Mack “Mac” Taylor, a steely-minded and determined criminalist; Mac treats all crimes as a whole, looking at the sum of the parts to find connections and clues.
Teamed with Mac are Stella Bonasera, half-Greek, half-Italian but all New York; Detective Danny Messer from Staten Island hand-picked by Mac; Brooklyn native Detective Aiden Burn whose specialty is bone facial reconstruction; chief Medical examiner Dr. Sheldon Hawkes making his first steps out of the autopsy room and into the field and new recruit Lindsay Monroe on transfer from Montana, who brings in a fresh perspective. Helping our CSIs is Detective Don Flack, hailing from a long line of law enforcers, Flack bridges the gap between the high tech CSIs and the gritty old school NYPD. Created off the back of the highly successful CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and CSI: Miami, CSI: New York uses different procedures and scientific techniques to their southern counterparts, but ultimately working towards the same goal, justice.
