Episode Guide - Season Fou
I have tried to give basic outlines from each of the episodes of season four and hope I have not given too much away but don’t read any further if you have not seen season four as you might find a spoiler or two. 4.1 Assume Nothing pt 1/2 The team are faced with a hunt for a serial killer who has slit the throat of a woman in a hotel room; the case turns into a double murder investigation when they discover the woman’s husband dead in his car. The case is jeopardised when Nick discusses the case with an old friend - and it later turns up on the news. 4.2 All for Our Country pt 2/2 Another double murder eliminates the prime suspects for the original crime and the evidence leads the team to believe that it was someone in the department who committed the crime. Catherine and Sara meanwhile have to investigate the death of a student found in the bath. 4.3 Homebodies The team investigate the mummified remains of an elderly woman who is discovered in a closet. While Sara and Nick investigate a breaking and entering where the affected family seem reluctant to help. Catherine checks out the discovery of a gun in the suburbs that is connected to the shooting of a bounty hunter. 4.4 Feeling the Heat Catherine investigates the death of a baby who was left inside a locked car on a hot day. Nick and Sara examine the death of a young woman whose body is wash up on the banks of a lake. While Warrick and Grissom investigate the death of a man found dead in his massager chair. 4.5 Fur and Loathing Catherine and Grissom investigate the death of a man dressed as a raccoon! Which leads them to the world of 'furries' and 'plushies' - people who dress up as animals. An employee of a convenience store is also found dead in an industrial freezer after being shot dead. 4.6 Jackpot Grissom heads out solo on a murder investigation after a dog finds a severed head in some woods. The small town sheriff may know a lot more than he's willing to tell and Grissom has to improvise to catch the killer when his evidence kit is stolen. Meanwhile, Catherine receives an unexpected and unwelcome gift from her father. 4.7 Invisible Evidence The team are given 24 hours to find new evidence in a rape and murder trial after a bloody knife Warrick recovered from a suspected killer's car is determined to be inadmissible. 4.8 After the Show 4.9 Grissom versus the Volcano A car bomb explodes killing a federal marshal bring the possibility of terrorism to the city but he wasn’t the intended target leading Grissom to a school science project. Warrick and Sara meanwhile investigate the death of a famous musician's wife who is found dead in a hotel hot tub. 4.10 Coming of Rage When the body of a 15-year-old boy is found beaten to death at a construction site, the prime suspect claims he attempted to rape her. Nick probes the fatal shooting of a woman outside of her new house while her husband and ex-husband fought in the drive. 4.11 Eleven Angry Jurors A juror in a hung jury ends up dead during deliberations with the other eleven jurors being prime suspects. Nick reopens an old murder case and must look for new evidence when the victim’s sister turns up and admits she withheld information three years previously. 4.12 Butterflied 4.13 Suckers 4.14 Paper or Plastic? 4.15 Early Rollout 4.16 Getting Off 4.17 XX 4.18 Bad to the Bone 4.19 Bad Words 4.20 Dead Ringer 4.21 Turn of the Screw 4.22.
