Episode Guide - Season Six
I have tried not to give too much away but don’t read any further if you have not seen season six as you might find a spoiler or two. 6.1 Bodies in Motion The season begins with the original team back together and the team investigating the death of two people who were in a trailer that caught fire and exploded. Catherine and Warrick are soon on the case of a young woman who was murdered in the wrong part of town wearing nothing but a plastic bag and thong. Sara and Greg are called to an abandoned car, which contains the liquefied remains of two bodies. Back in the lab Grissom gets Archie to clean up the tape found in the coffin with Nick at the end of the last season, it appears that Nick’s captor may not have been working alone, this is information which Grissom keeps to himself. We also discover in this episode that because of Nick’s brush with death Warrick has gotten married. 6.2 Room Service Grissom and Catherine work a triple murder that involves two Laotian men and a taxi driver, one of the men and the taxi driver are found outside an apartment building while the third man is found dead across town, an apparent accident victim. Warrick and Nick meanwhile investigate the death of an up-and-coming movie star whose body is found in a luxury hotel room. Where he partied with a woman he met in a casino. 6.3 Bite Me The team investigate the death of a young woman who is found dead after she apparently fell down the stairs in her home. They soon discover that her husband’s first wife also died in a similar manner and when they discover that he was involved with another woman who has a biting fetish and was being blackmailed, a clear motive for murder. 6.4 Shooting Stars The team investigate the death of a man who has been badly beaten to death and dumped in a backyard on the outskirts of the desert, it is while investigating this death and looking for clues Grissom and Catherine follow a group of footprints and stumble across an abandoned underground bunker and the bodies of 11 members of a cult who have committed suicide during a meteor shower. But what happened to the twelve member of the cult? We also get to see Warrick's wife during the episode! 6.5 Gum Drops With Grissom away giving a lecture Nick takes the lead in a case where a family of four have disappeared from there home, The crime scene suggests that they are all dead with three different blood spatters around the house; Nick believes that the youngest daughter may still be alive and is determined to find her, Sara however thinks that he is getting to emotionally involved after his experience of being buried alive. 6.6 Secrets and Flies The team investigate the death of a young woman who is a virgin, but had given birth. The death looks like a straightforward suicide when in fact it is a carefully disguised murder. Meanwhile Grissom is called to refute the testimony of a former colleague, who is an expert entomologist in a murder trail in order to prevent a killer being set free. The sheriff has a personal interest in the case and does not want to see the case collapse. 6.7 A Bullet Runs Through It pt 1/2 A high speed chase ends in a shoot out between police and four Hispanic men, with three of the four men dead and one rookie police officer also fatally wounded the team have to put together all the pieces, something which is not helped by the fact that the crime scene stretches for miles and tensions in the local community are reaching breaking point after a youth was shot. 6.8 A Bullet Runs Through It pt 2/2 With evidence to prove that the rookie police officer killed during a shoot out between the police and gang members, was hit by friendly fire Grissom and the team need to find out who fired the fatal shot.
