Goals for 2006

1. Look to have saved at least £120 by December (this is only £10 per month). I shall be using my HSBC account and the balance at the start of January was £25.78 so by the end of December the balance should be £145.78 at least. [back]
2. I need to keep my room a lot tidier and to monitor how successful I have been I shall post photos of my room every few months, as a standard the image posted with this entry is/was the current state and a benchmark to see how successful I have been with this goal. [back]
3. An old favourite and after my weight loss last year I would like to try and do better so hopefully by December I will have lost some weight. To monitor this I shall post my weight every three months. So my starting weight as of 23rd January 2005 was 106.6Kg or 16 stone 10 lbs [back]
4. I used to read a lot as a child but for some reason fell out of this habit so I am hoping to read more this year; I shall monitor this via a list of book read which I shall post online, which can be found here [back]
5. I really should meet up with my friends a lot more than I do and always seem to find an excuse not to do so. I will try to meet up with the gang every two weeks for a quiet drink. I can’t think of a way to really monitor this at the moment so any ideas. [back]
6. I am very good at finding excuses not to do things, when I had the money I was working and could not go out, now that I am not working I don’t have the money but I am going to try and go out at least 4 times this year for a night on the town and let my hair down and get drunk (lock up your daughters!!) [back]
7. I really want to do more with my time and actually be a little more creative than I have been, so after thinking about doing it for years after getting handmade cards off one of my friends (thanks Marie) I would like to attempt it myself, and also a little calligraphy as I love to write with proper pens. This will be monitored as the year goes one and any creations will be posted online, or who knows maybe through the post! [back]
8. I am a very honest person generally but do tend to keep my feelings well hidden and in the past that may well have cost me dearly so my last goal for 2006 is to be more honest with my feelings in general, regardless of the consequences. [back]
