# Finally pulled my finger out and got some walking boots, after trying mountain climbing with canvas shoes it really was time to invest in some decent boots for all the walking I am going to do.

# Saw Mamma Mia last week - really don't know what all the fuss was about I thought it was dreadful.

# I was surprised that Lee McQueen won The Apprentice, I really did think that Claire had it in the bag but then again if what I have heard about both finalists working with Sir Alan Sugar for six months before he makes the decision is true!

# Server 2 of Travian has ended, I have deleted my account on server 3 and have set the deletion countdown for my account on another server I have been playing on. Hopefully I will not spend all my time playing this rather addictive online game.

MOT failure ‘08

Monday, April 7th, 2008

When a car reaches a certain age you expect things to go wrong with it and the older a car is the more unlikely it is to pass an MOT test. (All cars over a certain age have to undergo a yearly test) Last year was the first year that my car failed its MOT [...]

Another few weeks without any updates again due to being kept very busy with things. I have been spending some time sorting out my old computer and have decided to sell off a lot of the equipment that I don’t really use any more, so the printer has been moved and I will just need [...]

St. Dwynwen’s Day - 25th January

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

I would not think many visitors to this site would have realised that the 25th January is St Dwynwen’s day here in Wales and this day commemorates the patron saint of friendship and love.
Dwynwen lived during the 5th century and was, by all accounts, one of the prettiest of Brychan Brycheiniog’s 24 daughters. The [...]
